How to make facebook friends private

Here's how to make your Facebook friends list private on both the mobile app and desktop version:

Using the Facebook Mobile App:

Open the Facebook app and tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy.
On the Settings & Privacy menu, tap Settings.
In the Settings menu, scroll down to the Audience and Visibility section and tap How People Find and Contact You.
Under "How People Find and Contact You", look for the option Who can see your friends list?.
Tap Edit next to Who can see your friends list?.
A pop-up menu will appear with different privacy options. Choose Only Me to make your friend list completely private. You can also choose Friends if you only want your friends to see it.
Tap Save Changes to confirm your selection.

Using the Facebook Desktop Website:

Go to https://www.facebook.com/pages and log in to your account.
Click the down arrow in the top right corner and select Settings & Privacy from the menu.
Click on Settings.
On the left side menu, click on Privacy.
Look for the section How People Find and Contact You and click on Edit next to Who can see your friends list?.
A dropdown menu will appear. Select Only Me to completely privatize your friend list or Friends if you only want your friends to see it.
Click Save Changes to confirm your selection.

Important to Note:

Even if you make your friends list private, someone might still be able to see that you're friends with them if they are a mutual friend.
Remember, privacy settings on Facebook can change, so it's a good idea to review them periodically.
